From the reliable RS Pro brand, this solid U 1000 R2V standard power and control cable is ideal for low-voltage energy applications.
Featuring a flame-retardant PVC outer sheath, and a XLPE thermoplastic filling compound insulation, the cable is durable and can be used with no additional mechanical protection. The qualities of this multi-core cable ensures it is ideal for most semi-industrial and industrial applications.
The non-shielded, unarmoured cable is comprised of three bare copper cores, with solid strands. It is supplied on a convenient spool.
This cable can confidently be installed in the open air without additional protection, and is often used on industrial sites. It can be affixed to cable trays, conduits or installed within walls and upright columns.
The cable has excellent insulation and a degree of protection from the elements, and can be buried in most cases. However, it should not be buried in grounds that may be flooded for more than two months of the year, or in trenches that may act as a drain.
